You may need to spread this over the course of a few days. The Niagara USA Wine Trail runs right through town, and following it from beginning to end is an adventure! If you can't find time to do the whole trail we understand - but do schedule tastings at our local wineries!

There are so many ways to get out and enjoy nature and your time together - that we simply can't choose for you!

Looking to kick back and make memories with your friends? Olcott Beach is quiet enough for relaxation time, but busy enough so you and your friends won't get bored. Restored, maintained, and staffed by the Newfane Historica Society, the Van Horn offers guided tours on a regular basis. Olcott Beach is home to some of the best fishing in the country. There are nature trails along Eighteen-Mile Creek and Burt Dam that allow for adventurous treks. There are many options conveniently located near the marina including cottages, a campground, and a hotel that caters to the fishing crowd! After just a short walk you're ready to board a charter boat or your own vessel and get right out on the open water.

Catch Your Share at Fisherman's Park
Cast your line out in Eighteen-Mile Creek for trout or salmon. Then travel up to Burt Dam to land the biggest salmon of your life.
